But only when he gathers information visually, especially reading. He isn’t as successful with auditory information. Spencer can read 20,000 words a minute. He also has an IQ of 187. He has three PhDs one in Mathematics, one in Chemistry and one in Engineering. He has Bas in Psychology and Sociology. Graduated High school at 12, got his first PhD in math at 17.

FACE?! - He has a very square skinny face with features that are a little small and spread very wide on his face.
BODY?! – Skinny probably only weighing about 110-115 pounds on a long frame. He is very lanky mostly all arms and legs but toned he does work out quite a bit but not enough to make him muscular. He is a pretty typical nerd when you look at him long unkempt hair, eyes that are usually focused on a book or something similar, skinny body and features because he spends more time studying than eating or doing anything else. Has one major scar on his leg from where he was shot otherwise he is pretty much free of physical scars but some emotional ones do run deep. He has thick framed glasses that he wears every once in a while but mostly sticks to contacts to appear less like a nerd. He wears his watch over his shirt sleeve when wearing long sleeves (see dislikes), mismatched socks and often times he looks more like a fourteen year old boy than an adult.
OVERALL?! – skinny and lanky but toned enough to work for the FBI in the BAU, most of the time he just works the profiling so doesn’t need to be athletic.

FINALE?!
- October 9th, 1981 Spencer is born to Diana and William Reid, he’d be their only child
- Age of three, his mother Diana, has her first psychotic break and is diagnosed with Schizophrenia, this will stick with Spencer forever.
-Age of Seven – his dad walks out on him and Diana, Spencer feels this is because of his mothers schizophrenia, later learns that he left after learning Diana was an assistant in a murder
-Age of Eight – Spencer joins high school, he is the youngest, and shortest kid in the high school but he is also the smartest kid in the school as well.
-Age of eight – Spencer is bullied to the point where the football team takes him and strips him naked and ties him to a goal post where he is tormented until they get bored. He walks home after this event and finds that his mom was having one of her episodes. He never speaks of this again.
-Age of twelve – Spencer graduates high school in Las Vegas and looks into getting into college.
-Age Fourteen – Spencer gets his driver’s license but couldn’t buy a car, rode his bike around the college campus.
-Age Sixteen – Spencer gets his undergraduate in college, he is the youngest person graduating that year.
-Age Seventeen – Spencer gets his PhD in mathematics, this is the first of three that he would obtain
-October 9th 1997 – Spencer has his mother committed to a mental institute against her will because he knows that she can’t live on her own and he wants to get himself somewhere else. This is also his eighteenth birthday
-Age Nineteen – Spencer gets his second PhD in Chemistry and his first BA in Chemistry
-Nineteen – Spencer joins the FBI academy though he does well with the book stuff he is horrible at marksmanship, physical training and obstacle training
-Age twenty one – Spencer gets special exceptions to be in the field as a special agent, he is also the youngest Agent
-Age 22 – Spencer is recruited by Jason Gideon to become part of the BAU team that is he is part of currently, he was handpicked by Gideon because of his mind. Gets a father/son relationship with Gideon
-October 9th, 2005 – Spencer turns 24, he is given Redskins tickets from Gideon who tells him JJ likes sports and Spencer asks JJ on a date but nothing ever comes of it, they are good friends though
-November 2005 – Spencer shoots and kills Phillip Dowd, this is the first person he ever killed, he failed his gun qualification but is allowed to keep the gun by Hotch.
-March 2006 – Reid gets his first kiss from an actress named Lila Archer, who was being stalked and he was ordered to protect. Asks Morgan after the case if the feeling he has ever goes away. She will later call him and he will deny the call.
May 2006 – Spencer tells the others that his mother is a paranoid schizophrenic.
October 2006 – he is the only one who notice’s Elle’s behavior and doesn’t do anything about it but regrets this later.
February 2007 – Spencer is held hostage by a serial killer Tobias Hankel and he is tortured and injected with dilaudid, he becomes addicted to this. This is also Reid’s second kill he kills Tobias using the revolver that was being used to torment him
October 2007 – Finds the note from Gideon saying he is done, is told to realize why Gideon wrote it to him and not another team member.
April 2008 – Spencer joins a support group for people with addictions, is given a year chip by an older agent who is named John is told to give it back after he gets his year chip. Admits that he is still having cravings for the drug. Saves himself and Hotch by giving a thirteen minute lecture about Chester Hardwicks condition and behavior.
October 2008 – Spencer goes undercover with Prentiss, this is his first time underground feels guilty for letting Prentiss be beaten in his place.
November 2008 – is reunited with his strange father has not spoken to him since this. Feels his father is a murderer. Also manages to impress a girl for the first time with Magic.
May 2009 – Spencer is infected with Anthrax and he refuses to take any narcotics for fear of addiction again. He has returned his year chip to
September 2009 – Spencer is shot in the leg spends the next several months with a cane or on crutches.
November 2009 – Figures out who Peter Rhea’s truly is. Attends the funeral for Hotch’s wife Haley. All of the team is deeply affected by the fact that Foyet “Rheas” killed Hotchner’s wife and end up having to take a case
January 2011 – Spencer starts having severe headache with hallucinatory episodes. Is told they are psychosomatic and in his head. Making him think he might be schizophrenic. Appears to get over his headaches but is later seen with a book about migraines.
February 2011 – Spencer is still dealing with headaches and connects with an autistic boy showing some of his own autistic tendencies as well.
March 2011 – Spencer tells Emily about his headaches. He later tells Morgan about the headaches and tells him he’s only read five books in the prior weeks.
