Hello, Dorothy Gale.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
I haven't the slightest idea. But no need to be creative! Dorothy would do just fine C:.
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
I beg your pardon? Sixteen.
» I see, and you're in what member group? And do you happen to be a native of this place?
I should hope this is real. I wouldn't want it to be a pure fantasy -- that would mean I'm not real at all. You can still pinch me, can't you? Do say yes . . . or I'll begin to worry. I'm afraid I'm not in Kansas anymore to tell you that.
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
I'm not very certain as to who this Judy Garland is, but I'm sure she is a lot lovelier than I am. I'm just a farm girl from Kansas.
» Thanks! Slipped my mind. Now, do you know the super secret code word?
Florence

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
Playing with Toto on a sunny day, watching a rainbow appear after a rainy day of misery, conversing with Hunk when he isn't teasing me about the occasional lack of brains and hearing Zeke's charming bluff.
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
How strange when an illusion dies. It's as though you've lost a child. Isn't it funny? When I wandered a quaint little place called Munchkin Land, I met up with several little men and women, all very charming!
However, there were a few that weren't so nice, I believe. Some of the [midget] men used to tease me while Glinda, the beautiful Witch of the North, wasn't around to help me. They used to sneak under my dress! I told them if they ever went under there - and I found out about it - they were in big trouble!
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
I can live without many things, but I cannot live without my dreams or my friends. We work so much on our dreams, all usually born of good will and imagination, fueled by illusion, when suddenly a thing like that gets smothered by a strange thing called reality! Oh! I believe it is quite fearsome when one loses his dream. It makes life oh-so terribly frightful!
Then again, behind a cloud is another cloud. I shouldn't be so childish, but I at least try not to be! Really! I should hope to never to see the true source of my fears never ever again -- to utter the name! I couldn't. That Wicked Old Witch! Isn't it odd that she looks very much like Miss Gulch? Oh, that she should make me so unhappy. My poor Toto! The horrible things she'd do on him. No, I couldn't let that happen to you, Toto. I wouldn't! Jiminy Christmas!
The idea of Scarecrow getting burned again! I couldn't bare the sight. Why, I wouldn't ever be the same should he turn to ashes. I believe he, Tin Man and Lion are my very best friends. I couldn't stand the idea of *any* of them suffering under her terrible influence. I hope they are doing fine without me back in Oz. I miss them all so very, very much!
I'd wish for a thousand twisters if they could get me back to Oz.
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
I've never thought that far ahead before. I fancy the idea of, well, getting married. *Chuckles, twisting her skirt a little bit* I believe I'd be a great housewife! Oh, I'd do just about anything for my husband.
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
Please, I must rest. I am out of breath. Oh! (The rest of the application pretty much sums this bit up XD <3)/blockquote]- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
Why, I'm from a little town called Kansas. I don't quite know precisely what happened to my parents. I've heard tales of them from Uncle Henry, but his stories about them always change. And although they are never the same, I can't help but be amused by them.
See, I couldn't tell you anything far too thrilling as to my life here in Kansas as it is very simple. I grew up in a farm with Auntie Em and Uncle Henry, where I get visits from Zeke, Hickory and Hunk. They are like family to me!
How could I forget Toto? I got him when I was twelve, I believe. He is my closest friend, my very best friend. I could tell him anything and he wouldn't think of correcting me. As for my education, I'm home-schooled which explains why I've never been so far away from the barn.
I had the oddest dream. Would you like to hear it? I know it has nothing in relation to my background, if you please. It's quite silly, but I explored a land unlike any other. A world where one is led to believe that there couldn't possibly be any trouble. A land where the little people roam, where a witch is more than capable of not seeming ugly (that certainly struck me), where evil lurks behind the darkest of places! But there are kind friends with the most generous of souls. I found them while following the yellow brick road: Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion.
I met eyes with a blue-eyed wonder, attached to a pole, with a hay-based frame. At first, it was a most curious sight. He spoke to me as I was skipping down the road with my dog -- I couldn't resist and spoke back. From that point on we were a team! We both wanted something. He wished for a brain, I wished for my home back in Kansas. I dragged him along until . . .
We saw poor Tin Man all rusted up. He must have been there for an awfully long time. He was so stiff, even after we oiled him back in shape. It was the sweetest thing, how he sang so softly to me. Scarecrow and I knew instantly that he'd be a great addition, for he wanted a heart. Oh, it would have been cruel not to pull him along as well! It seemed only fair.
We did the same with the most comical of all. Lion was cruel at first, but he turned out to be something a little more soulful. He only wanted a bit of courage, though he scared my poor Toto trying to prove otherwise. We decided to add him to the mix, too! And here were all my friends. Watch out, you Wicked Old Witch!
Speaking of which, we crossed paths along the way. She gave us various warnings, none pleasant. I did kill her sister, of course. That would explain why she wasn't happy with me. It was an accident, I never meant to kill her. I'm ashamed to say that my house fell upon her head, killing her instantly. She has been after me ever since -- and for the reason that my slippers happen to enchanted.
We traveled to the Emerald city, just as the good witch asked me to. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz would give us what we wanted. We did travel far and wide, looking for this fellow. He didn't turn out so nice at all, I'm afraid. He had us go on a mission to get the witch's broom.
I was held hostage when we embarked on this journey. This proved a challenge for my friends. They did so well! Oh, I'm so glad! They all had to use their hearts, brains and courage to find me, and they very well did. I ended up killing the witch with a bucket of water! How sudden it was. She was burning poor Scarecrow. I couldn't just stand there and watch! I would have lost a dear friend.
On our way back to the Emerald city, we were stumped to discover the Wizard was a fluke. What a terrible man, tricking the three of us like that. He didn't even consider the dreams he crushed when he had us go through all that trouble for nothing. He made it better, somewhat, when he did reward us with a little something special. He most certainly made my friends happy, which made me happy! But, oh, there was nothing in it for me. I'd be stuck here forever! My friends did what they could to comfort me; it helped.
Just when my heart fell down to the pit of my stomach, Glinda came to me and told me I had the power to return to Kansas all along. Why didn't she tell me this in the first place?
I suppose if she did I would have never ran across my friends, so I don't need to hold it against her. It was a big lesson to me. Home is where the heart is, am I right?
Anyway, I clicked my heels and home I went! I woke up to everyone greeting me with little smiles on their faces. Now that I think of it Hunk, Zeke and Hickory looked far too similar to Scarecrow, Lion and Tin Man. Perhaps it was them! They were with me all along! How I missed Auntie Em and Uncle Henry, even that odd fortune teller.
There's no place like home. :C
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
I only have Auntie Em and Uncle Henry. :C
» What is your worst memory/memories?
Falling in the pig sty! That scared me silly! Also, that time when Miss Gulch wanted to get rid of my dog forever!
» What is your best memory/memories?
Dancing with Uncle Zeke at the tender age of six. I used to stand on his feet as he swayed to and fro. Oh, it was always great fun when he did that.
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
I'm stuck in this place and wish dearly for a pair of ruby slippers to blow this candy shop. I have to go back, to my family! They must be ever-so worried. :C- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -roll the credits.
