Katniss doesn't have many friends, and it takes a while for her to trust someone enough for them to be her friend. She is awkward in social situations and often messes up her chances of making friends. But she'd still love to try and have some friends.

Katniss makes enemies fairly easily. She often says things she doesn't mean and gets people mad at her. She's sure to have her fair share of enemies here.

Lovers
Katniss has little experience with love. Two people have been in love with her, but she failed to see it until it was too late. She is not sure if she herself has ever been in love. She might like to have a relationship or two here.

Legolas && Katniss

Just so you know, I'm too lazy to switch accounts and post this on the right one xD I'm Miri in the cbox, and Legolas or Evelasting Light! on the board. And, err, could you shrink your avvie, please? It stretches the board.

Okay, onto the relationship. I think that Legolas (or, at least, Legolas as I play him here, because heaven knows there are billions of versions of him) and Katniss are rather similar. For one, they both are wary of strangers, and don't trust people easily. Neither of them have a lot of friends, and don't do so well in social situations -- although for different reasons. I haven't read the books, but I'm fairly sure Katniss is a good archer and fighter, and Legolas would be fond of having someone else around that can use a bow and arrow. She should just watch out, since he's rather proud of his skill, and would never let himself lose to a human.

Beyond them being kind of similar if you really squint your eyes, I'm... not sure what they'd get up to. Maybe they'd be allies? Or maybe they'd reach a weird mutual understanding of some sort? It could be fun to see them work together on something, though I'm not sure what Katniss would make of an Elf. Tell me what you think! I'd love to have them interact -- and if you like, you could join the 'Bonfires' thread that Legolas is in. It's kind of slow, but having someone else active and participating in it would bring it back. Or we could do a separate thread... you tell me!

These two could be really fun, I think. Both of them are fiercely protective of their families and they both are strong, capable fighters. I think that they would become close allies (though Buffy wouldn't share her "destiny" until they became closer) and possibly friends? They have a lot in common and I think that a good friendship could come of them working together

I actually just had a great idea, one of them could find the other one practicing archery. If the have bows and arrows on this island...

They do. The island provides for pretty much everything, and even if it didn't, Legolas had the bow of Galadriel and his quiver with him at the time he was taken, so he has that. I'd absolutely love to do a thread! Do you think you could start it, with Katniss shooting? Legolas probably wouldn't be practicing all that much, since he's confident in his ability.
