darkness slowly peels away from your vision as you open your eyes, the air warmer than you would have expected and the sun's ray's initially blinding you. the place is familiar and your instincts start kicking in before you realize exactly what's happened.
characters from all different kinds of universes are suddenly waking up on a deserted island. the island was once inhabited, but something's happened to that former population. the former occupants appeared to have built a town by the shore. everything is still in condition and it's a perfectly livable place - there's just one issue. hundreds of characters with differing beliefs, species, abilities and backgrounds are being thrown into it, and there's no way out. they're just simply lost in this place. and who knows what they'll find... or even worse, that will find them.
hidden deep in the forest of the island are the natives. they are not indigenous. they talk, look, and act just like they were once plucked from their worlds and brought to this island, just like everyone else. in fact, that is exactly what happened to them. so how are they natives? they feel that the island is theirs - that it is their home, so they call themselves natives. they serve an unknown entity that they call Doyle - the island's creator.
they were here when the abandoned town was built and when that population was wiped out. but instead of living in the town, they've set up a makeshift camp in the forest - with simple cabins, water from a pump, and food provided 'by the island'. though they live in this camp, there are a special group of natives that have access to much more - a secret hub that has captured and hosted some of the most powerful information and technologies the earth and the universe has ever known. the location is so secret, it appears not to exist, and the natives will only speak of it as the center of the island.
their goal is to serve Doyle well and not trust those who are outside of the native group. outsiders are not to step foot in native territory, but natives often enter outsider territory in order to carry out Doyle's wishes. may be to capture or kill or destroy.
some characters have woken up in the native's camp and have been 'accepted' into their world. a mysterious contraption flashed white pure light into their eyes and they instantly felt like they were one with the island and natives - though everything else about them is the same. is your character one of them?
will they forever be lost in this place
